PRACTICE AREAS

Business Planning and Commercial Transaction
In our commercial real estate practice, we review, negotiate and prepare contracts for the sale, purchase, or lease of real estate. Our work includes residential and commercial subdivisions, apartment complexes, shopping centers, and multi-storied office buildings.
We advise our clients, which include lenders, individual owners, investors, and developers, with respect to purchasing, selling and financing real estate; including tax liability considerations where appropriate.
We are involved in all aspects of commercial litigation including general contract disputes, mortgage foreclosures, creditor’s rights, corporate and partnership litigation, and landlord/tenant litigation.

Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights
We represent parties in preferential and fraudulent transfer claims and also serve as counsel to Liquidating Trusts prosecuting preference and fraudulent transfer actions. We act as both lead and local counsel and will tailor our representations to the needs of our clients and co-counsel.

Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
We encourage cross-disciplinary solutions for client matters and strive to resolve disputes at the pre-litigation stage whenever possible. While legal theories in a case may be complicated, our litigation strategy is simple – strive to achieve our clients’ objectives as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.
